Details

Flamenco is an art-form based on the various folkloric music traditions of southern Spain in the autonomous communities of Andalusia, Extremadura, and Murcia. We're pleased to have this workshop taught by our very own flamenco expert (and possible inspiration behind the dancer emoji), Sonya Dekhtyar!

This workshop will be split into 2 one-hour sessions over 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) so that we can learn the foundations of flamenco and then apply them to a choreographed dance. We hope to see you at one or both sessions!

Attire: Please wear clothing you can move in and comfortable closed-toe shoes.

This lesson will be free for members and $5 for non-members. Cancellation deadline for non-members is 24 hours in advance of the event to receive full reimbursement. Partners are also welcome!
