JBSA & GBC LPF Purim Party

JBSA + GBC is excited to announce a Purim Party LPF which is happening on Thursday night, March 10 @ 5.30 pm at Hubbard Inn!

For $5 you receive a sick Halloween party (open to all), 2 tickets for frosty beverages, heavy appetizers, and of course unlimited Hamantaschen cookies!

What is Purim? >>> Purim is the best Jewish holiday of the year! You are commanded to:
-Wear a costume
-Eat a feast
-Drink like a beast (the literal commandment is that you must forget what happened that night)

Why do we do this?
Because we commemorate that we survived (yet another) persecution…. This specific time was from the Persian empire

What is our ask of you?
Drink, eat, rejoice, and make this the SICKEST pre-Thursday Night Dancing (or was the D for Dining? We forget) Club party that Booth school of business has EVER HAD!!!!


This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.
