1Y Gargoyles - FIRST COHORT SOCIAL: A Dinner, A Chicago Exploration & A Dessert

A Dinner, A Chicago Exploration & A Dessert!
When: 6pm, November 13th Friday
Where: In/around the Loop

We're kicking off the year with a night of good food, exploring the city, and getting to know each other in small groups. Come for the whole night or just part of it. Totally casual, and no worries if you can only make part of it!

HOW THE NIGHT WORKS
6:00 - 8:00 pm PM: Small-group dinners
You'll pick a restaurant from a handful of cuisines spread around the Loop, and sit down with a group of about 5-6 classmates. Each table will have a volunteer host to help keep things fun. Dinner is pay-your-own, and we'll list the price range for every spot so you can pick what fits your budget.
Between dinner and dessert: Explore the city
Each restaurant's host will lead a walking route to our dessert spot, with a few things to check out along the way. It's a great excuse to see a piece of Chicago you haven't yet. Dress warm!
8:30 PM: Dessert, all together
Every group meets up at one dessert spot to regroup and swap stories from the night. Dessert is on us (paid for by the cohort social budget).

NOT A DINNER PERSON?
You're welcome to join us just for dessert at 8:30pm. Just let us know in the registration form later on so we can plan for enough.

STEP 1: LET US KNOW YOU'RE IN!
Registration: CampusGroup (will open before Oct 20th)
It only takes <1min and helps us book the right number of tables. Please note: this is NOT the restaurant sign-up, restaurant sign-up comes later.

STEP 2: PICK YOUR RESTAURANT (coming soon)
Once we have a headcount, we'll reveal the restaurant options (organized by cuisine) and the dessert location, and open sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hope to see you all there!
