Mission
The Business Solutions Group facilitates consulting engagements for MBA students with business and non-profit organizations. BSG creates teams of five first-year MBA students who participate in a competition, judged by representatives of top consulting firms, to solve a well-defined business challenge over a 10-week period in the fall. BSG selects teams through an application process.

Our mission is to provide an avenue for students to gain practical consulting, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills by tackling business challenges for our clients and by enabling additional networking opportunities with experienced consultants. We provide value to our clients by offering MBA-level talent and resources to solve relevant business issues.

Membership Benefits
CONSULT
BSG gives you an opportunity to gain first-hand experience on a real consulting project. You will gain client management, strategic thinking, team work, and workplanning skills. Learn how to frame and solve a real business issue with hands-on training and real-life experience.

CONNECT
As part of the BSG experience, you will have an opportunity to connect with fellow first years who are interested in consulting, second-year engagement managers and co-chairs, as well as numerous firms.

LEARN
BSG is sponsored and supported by the top management consulting firms in the industry, and they conduct training sessions and workshops to get to know you and help you succeed. You will learn scoping, storyboarding, presentation, problem solving and data analysis skills from real consultants. You will also receive in-depth feedback from judges following each of your presentations.

PRESENT
Every year we work with a diverse mix of clients facing an array of business challenges. You will have an opportunity to present three times to senior representatives from numerous consulting firms, providing a great opportunity to work on public speaking skills and a chance to share your pro
