About Us

At its core, the Chicagonomics group is seeking to incite the student body to engage in econocentric discussions and leverage the Chicago Booth tradition of thought-leadership towards exploring the broader frame of economics in today's business world. The objective of the group is to foster a politically neutral environment for students to participate in various events such as student-led discussions and debates, presentations by professors, as well as experts from outside the University. We believe that many of our fellow MBA peers come to Chicago Booth driven by the stellar reputation and economic framework applied to multiple academic disciplines across the University. To further foster this economic spirit and heritage, Chicagonomics will provide a platform for MBA students to explore the world of economics outside of the classroom in an entertaining and thought-provoking environment.
