Flourish with Rob and Nancy Go - Dual Career Family
Join us for a conversation with a panel of dual-career couples as we explore how to navigate dual-career relationships & family post-MBA.

Rob Go, Co-Founder & Partner at NextView Ventures & Nancy Go, CMO at Devoted Health

Rob Go is a co-founder and Partner at NextView, a thematic, seed-stage venture capital fund. He tries to spend as much time as possible working with entrepreneurs to develop products that solve important problems for everyday people.

Rob’s main area of focus is around companies that use software to deliver transformative consumer experiences to end users. This has led him to make investments in a wide range of industries including ecommerce, business productivity, labor marketplaces, real estate tech, and digital health.

Prior to founding NextView, Rob was at Spark Capital and focused on early stage investments in consumer web and mobile. Before joining Spark Capital, Rob worked at Ebay as the Business Product Lead for “Finding”. In this role, he oversaw the launch of major products that enhanced the search, browse, and product discovery experience for tens of millions of users.

Rob has held roles as a consultant at The Parthenon Group and also held product management roles at Fidelity Investments and BzzAgent (acquired by Dunnhumby).

He attended Duke University and holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He was also a founding board member of Highrock Church in Brookline, MA. He lives in Lexington, with his wife, Nancy Go, and 2 daughters.

Nancy Go is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Devoted Health, the fastest growing medicare company on a mission to improve the health and well-being of older Americans through higher quality, more affordable, and more caring health care.

She has been previously or currently engaged with launching and/or accelerating growth for a range of consumer retail companies, from multi-billion dollar brands such as Wayfair, Chewy, and P&G/Gillette to earlier stage startups such as Droplette (skincare), Dia (fashion), Tally (fintech), and Arteza (art supplies).

Nancy is personally invested in mentorship and entrepreneurship, serving on the board of Big Sisters Association of Boston and Duke’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Advisory Committee, and as a mentor/speaker for HBS Startup Bootcamp and Praxis Labs. She attended Duke University and holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Zhao Hu (Founder and Managing Partner, Legacy Growth Partners) and Kristin Hu (Head of High School Social Studies at Chicago Public Schools (CPS))

Zhao Hu is a Founder and Managing Partner at Legacy Growth Partners (Independent Sponsor). He has had 7 Years in Investment Banking at Solomon Partners, Lincoln International and BMO Capital Markets. He also holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and a B.S. in Finance from Iowa State University

Kristin is the Head of High School Social Studies at Lakeview High School, boasting over 15 years of teaching experience across Iowa, Hong Kong, and Chicago. Dedicated to the Chicago Public School system for the past 11 years, she holds a Teaching Degree from Northwestern College and passionately fosters critical thinking and global awareness in her students. Beyond teaching, she cherishes time with her husband and two children in their Lakeview neighborhood home.

Please note that the speakers will be virtual while we will be watching together from C01.

About Navigating the Grey
Navigating the Grey is an annual, student-led ethics conference at Booth, born out of the Great Recession by members of the Christians in Business student club in recognition of our responsibilities as future leaders. Each year, we invite prominent representatives of the private and social sectors so that they can share valuable lessons learned with us.

The theme this year is "Flourish," where we discuss how faith enables people to flourish in all aspect of their lives, including professionally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally.
