Details

Navigating the Grey ("NTG") is an annual student-led ethics conference at Chicago Booth, born out of the Great Recession in recognition of our responsibilities as future leaders. Every year, we invite prominent representatives of the private and social sectors so that they can share with us pivotal moments in their lives, and the principles which underline their ability to lead with integrity and impact.

Our goal is to inspire audience members to define their own compass of values and think consciously about how we will live out those values in the face of inevitable "grey areas" in our personal and professional lives. How will we not just survive these grey areas, but thrive in them?

Wendy Davidson is a global executive, board director, and investor with more than 25 years of leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. She served as CEO and Board Director of The Hain Celestial Group, a $1.7B global health and wellness company, where she led transformation efforts focused on driving growth, strengthening brands, and building high-performance teams.

Prior to Hain, Wendy held senior leadership roles at major global companies including Kellogg Company, McCormick & Company, Tyson Foods, and Glanbia, where she led large-scale operations across multiple regions and product categories. Her career has been defined by a focus on organizational transformation, innovation, and delivering sustainable, profitable growth.

In addition to her executive career, Wendy serves on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including First Horizon Corporation and Ronald McDonald House Charities, and is an active angel investor in emerging consumer brands. A sought-after speaker on leadership and culture, she is widely recognized for her ability to build purpose-driven organizations and develop high-impact teams.
