Chicago Women in Business (CWiB) is the student organization for full-time MBA candidates at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business dedicated to promoting women and advancing gender equity at Booth and across the globe. We accomplish this by connecting Booth women and fostering community through social events. We grow together through personal and professional development events. And we empower Booth women to succeed in business through CWiB Circles, professional conferences and events.
Connect: We foster community for Booth women through events large and small. From small group dinners, to CWiB Circles (small groups of 1Ys and 2Ys), CWiB Takes Chicago, to larger quarterly events, CWiB seeks to strengthen the network of Booth women through experiences. We also partner with Chicago Booth alumnae to grow our community beyond the student body.
Grow: At CWiB, we grow together. Whether this be development events put on by our sponsors or subsidized executive training, we support both personal and professional development.
Empower: We empower our members to succeed beyond Booth through events such as the 2018 Fall Conference, where members and sponsor companies are able to meet face to face.
