Elise Ablin is a Director in Cresset’s Private Funds Group. She manages Cresset’s platform for private credit investing in external funds, co-investments, and related opportunities, in partnership with leading third-party, private asset managers.

Prior to joining Cresset, Elise held various corporate underwriting and business development roles in BMO’s Commercial Bank after completing the bank’s commercial analyst development program.

Elise earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Rollins College. She currently resides in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood with her husband, Pat, and their miniature dachshund, Birdie.

John Arnold, CFA is a Vice President on Associated Bank’s Mortgage Warehouse division. In this role, he is responsible for underwriting and managing a $2B portfolio of credit relationships with mortgage lenders across the US.

John has over a decade of commercial and corporate banking experience. Prior to Associated Bank, John worked with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and JP Morgan Chase in similar lending roles. John holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Idaho State University and is a CFA Charterholder. John will be graduating in May 2024 upon completion of Chicago Booth’s MBA program.

Allison Nie, CFA is an Assistant Vice President on the structured credit investing team at PPM America, Inc. In her current role, Allison is responsible for co-managing a $3 billion credit portfolio consisting of public and private asset backed securities (ABS) and Collateral Loan Obligations (CLOs). Allison has over 7 years of investment experience. Prior to PPM, She was an investment analyst at a PE owned insurance company. Allison earned both an MBA and a MS in financial mathematics degree from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Virginia. She is also a CFA charterholder and holds the Financial Risk Manager designation.

Andrew Tinari, CFA, is an Investment Manager in the Private Credit team at LGIM America. In his role, he is responsible for the origination, underwriting, execution and management of corporate and alternative private placement debt opportunities for LGIM America clients across the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan. 

Andrew joined LGIM America in 2022 as a Senior Investment Associate. Andrew was promoted to his current role in 2024. Prior to LGIM America, Andrew worked at LBC Credit Partners as an Associate within their Underwriting & Research division, underwriting private credit opportunities that supported buyouts, acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings for sponsored transactions. Prior to this, Andrew transitioned to the buyside with Deerpath Capital, as an Associate on their Investment Team. He was previously an Associate with Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking within their Coverage and Investment Banking division and began his career at Fitch Ratings, where he was an Associate Director within the Asset Backed Securities group.

Andrew earned a BS in Finance from Fairfield University and MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Andrew is also a CFA charterholder.
