Join Us for the 39th Annual DuSable Dinner – May 16, 2024

Annual DuSable Dinner, taking place on May 16, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the University Club of Chicago. This year, we are excited to announce that we are hosting the event in a dinner format, offering an intimate setting for networking, inspiration, and engaging discussions with an impressive line up of speakers.

The DuSable Dinner is a cornerstone event for dialogue and connection within our community, celebrating the remarkable achievements and ongoing aspirations of African American business leaders. This year's theme, "Evolve, Empower, Engage," aims to explore the realms of continuous improvement, empowerment through knowledge and skills, and reaching new heights in the business world.

This event attracts participants from across the Chicagoland area and provides a platform for the African American community to glean insights from individuals who have had a profound impact in business and service nationally and globally. Started in 1985, the conference remains one of the longest-running conferences led by students at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Past conferences have featured prominent speakers such as the Honorable Harold Washington, Reverend Jesse Jackson, John Rogers, James Bell, Martin Nesbitt, MBA ‘89, and many more.

We are also honored to announce Cedric Nash as our keynote speaker for the evening. Cedric Nash, a renowned entrepreneur, investor, wealth coach, and author, will be delivering a keynote speech on financial literacy. A veteran, consultant, and serial entrepreneur with nearly 30 years of experience leading his own consulting firm, Cedric Nash is passionate about empowering the African American community to build wealth.

For Booth students, we are aware of the Graduation LPF that ends at 6:30pm and will have a cocktail hour from 7pm-8pm CST with passed hors d’oeuvres and an open bar with frosty beverages.

Please mark your calendars and join us for an evening of empowerment and inspiration. Please register via the Booth Groups link below by May 8th to reserve your spot! Tickets are $60 per person and open to everyone!

We look forward to celebrating with you and continuing to build on the legacy of excellence that defines us.
