Assaf Wand

Assaf Wand is the CEO and Co-Founder of Hippo, a Mountain View startup that is reinventing home insurance. Prior to founding Hippo, Assaf was the Founder and CEO of Sabi, which designed and produced elegant everyday products for the senior community. Sabi was acquired by Uribo in 2015. Before that, Assaf held several executive positions including SVP of Corporate Development and Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at Foris Telecom. Prior to that, he was a consultant with McKinsey and Company, and Investment Associate with Intel Capital.
Assaf Wand holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a BA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from IDC Herzliya.
Ben Malka
Partner
F-Prime Capital
Ben is a partner at F-Prime Capital and invests our early-stage tech fund focused on Enterprise IT and FinTech. Ben joined the firm in 2015, and has led investments in Snapsheet, Toast and Vestwell. Most recently, Ben was a General Partner with Capital One/North Hill Ventures, where he led investments in Compete (acquired by WPP), Paychoice (acquired by Sage Software), Placemark Investments (acquired by Envestnet), and FSV Payments (acquired by US Bank). Prior to working in venture capital, Ben was at the Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on advising consumer brands, financial institutions and software vendors to the financial services industry. Early in his career, Ben worked as a consultant at McKinsey and Company and a risk analyst at Bank of America.
Ben graduated with an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and earned degrees in Quantitative Economics and Political Science from Stanford University. Except when skiing during mid- winter breaks, Ben serves as a co-chairman of the Financial Services Venture Capital Association and has previously been President of the Stanford Alumni Association of New England.
Doug Russell
Partner; SVP of Strategy and Corporate Development

Mr. Russell has served as Managing Director of MassMutual Ventures, since its formation in July, 2014. Since 2009, he has also served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development. Mr. Russell joined MassMutual in 2007, as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating and Chief Financial Officer for the companyÔÇÖs Retirement Income unit, and has 30 years of broadly diversified experience in the financial services industry.
Prior to MassMutual, Mr. Russell was Senior Vice President and Head of Client Services for Prudential Retirement, a post he held from 2004 through the firmÔÇÖs acquisition of CIGNAÔÇÖs Retirement and Investment Services business, which he joined in 2001 as Senior Vice President in its Corporate Insurance unit. Mr. Russell, from 1995-2001, was with Aetna Inc./ING Financial Services, primarily with the companyÔÇÖs Aetna International, Inc., business, including more than two years as its CFO, and three years as the CEO overseeing Aetna Philippines in Manila.
Mr. Russell received his Bachelor of Arts in economics from Brown University, and earned his Master of Business Administration from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Alex Davidov

Alex is a Vice President with Core Innovation Capital, where he invests in teams who are solving problems connected to financial services and the future of work. He's been an operator, an engineer, and a public markets investor as well as a two time prior entrepreneur.
He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's from Columbia University.
Kyle Nakatsuji

Kyle is a former Principal at American Family Ventures, where he invested in all kinds of awesome startups related to insurance.
Before that he was an attorney focused on tech startups, and also worked in strategy, finance, and legal roles with a number of tech companies.
He holds a law degree and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.
