CPG Camp
As a result of last year's successful inaugural event, the Booth Marketing Club (BMC) in collaboration with Kirk Keel would like to invite you to another session of CPG Camp!
CPG Camp was created by Kirk Keel, a former Senior Brand Manager at Johnson & Johnson, as an online platform to help those interested in CPG brand management better understand the responsibilities of an Associate Brand Manager or Brand Manager and learn important skills necessary to succeed from day one!
Kirk has worked with the BMC to create a one-day immersive training experience with a curriculum that we feel meets Booth student needs. The session will begin by introducing the profession and what one can expect a career in CPG brand management to entail followed by the identification of key metrics used to measure success. Industry specific knowledge will then be covered; this includes P&L ownership, cross-functional team relationships, creation and stewardship of a brand's creative brief, and more!
Event participants will receive access to the CPG Camp online platform (a $97 value), which includes all 14 modules and the Marketing Aptitude Test (M.A.T.). The M.A.T. is designed to assess one's understanding of critical marketing knowledge. Those who score in the top 25th percentile continue on through the screening process for the opportunity to interview with leading CPG firms. (e.g. Johnson & Johnson, General Mills, Avon, AB-Inbev, etc.)

The Booth Marketing Club (BMC) is a non-profit student association organized to provide part-time students of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business a forum for the exchange of marketing ideas, to educate students about topics and trends in the field, and to improve skills necessary to succeed in the marketing industry.
