Did the choreography to Jalebi Baby make you feel out of touch with your inner dancer? Don't worry, SABG has got your back! Come join us this Diversity Week for a 1-hour Bhangra class with a professional choreographer.

Bhangra is a super energetic folk dance that originated in Punjab in India. People wear bright clothes and use props to spruce up their performance to celebrate a successful harvest season. For all you fitness fans out there, the cardio will definitely impress you! So be ready to bring the intense Booth energy and burn down the dance floor!

GBC's annual Diversity Week is a series of events to foster connections between students and develop skills that will allow us to leave Booth as more inclusive, supportive leaders.

The event is open to all Booth students!

This convening is open to all invitees who are compliant with UChicago vaccination requirements and, because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, participants are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures (masking and social distancing, etc.) appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials or to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Participants will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures.

Disclaimer: Students should never miss class to attend optional programming. The Deans' Office will not support requests for absences due to participation in any non-class activity or Booth-sponsored event as excused.
