Socialize: craft beer at Monk's Pub

Hey friends! Do you like craft beer? Do you like dive bars? Do you like knick knacks? The intersection of all of this is Monk's Pub - a Loop institution for the last 40+ years! The knick knacks refer to the fact that practically every surface in this pub is covered in something (don't worry, it's not a sticky carpet kind of pub). Rumour has it that one of the books on the wall is full of money, and if you find it then you can pay the bar tab! It's also not really a dive bar.

Even if you don't like craft beer, there's a (admittedly small) selection of wine, spirits, & cocktails. I'm not sure how much I trust anything more than a 2 ingredient cocktail at a dive bar, but it's your call!

Here's the deal - come along, your first drink is on us, my only request is that at least one craft beer snob signs up so they can explain to us what we're tasting!
