Join CWiB for a fireside chat with CEO and Founder of Sugar Bliss, Teresa Ging. Teresa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Chicago. Before founding Sugar Bliss, Teresa built a successful career in finance, working at several leading firms before deciding to pursue her passion for baking. After six years in the industry, she enrolled in the Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie program in Paris.

Since launching Sugar Bliss, Teresa has been widely recognized for her entrepreneurial achievements. Her honors include the Business Leaders of Chicago Award (2025), WBENC WBE Star Award (2025), NAWBO Corporate Women Achievement Award (2023), BMO Harris Celebrating Women Award (2023), Shirley Marx Pitch Award (2021), and Enterprising Women of the Year Award (2019). In 2009, she was invited by President Obama to attend the signing of the White House Council on Women & Girls.​

Teresa actively contributes to the business community as a Board Member of the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Illinois and serves on the Advisory Board of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce (SBDC).
