March 12: Diamond Dollars Case Competition at SABR Analytics Conference
If you're interested in forming a team for either case competition, please email Sarah Alexander at salexan1@chicagobooth.edu, who will coordinate interest.
This year’s event will be held on the morning of Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, 122 N 2nd St, Phoenix, AZ, 85004. (The case will be distributed and due in advance of the competition.) The cost of participation is $1750 for a team of up to 5 students, and the fee includes full registration to the SABR Analytics Conference, a unique gathering which brings together the top minds of the baseball analytic community to discuss, debate and share insightful ways to analyze and examine the game of baseball. The conference will begin following the competition on Thursday, March 12.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Analytics, the Intern serves as an integral part of our primary research and analysis function. The Intern will also be responsible for maintaining complex ticket sales and attendance models which are utilized for up-to-date reporting to ownership.
