February 25: Green Sports Alliance Webinar

Pursuing gains in energy efficiency is often one of the first steps in sports greening initiatives. Actions such as putting timers and motion sensors on lights, turning off heating/cooling in unoccupied spaces, and sealing gaps in insulation can significantly reduce energy consumption and monthly bills. However, the quest for maximum efficiency does not end there, as a host of new tools and strategies are available to venue operators to further eliminate waste and reduce both carbon footprint and energy spend.

On this webinar, we will hear two case studies of recent energy efficiency innovations at an NFL stadium and an NHL arena, and we will learn more about the NHL’s league-wide efforts to improve efficiency in all 30 of its venues via a new partnership with Constellation Energy. We hope you can join us!

Speakers include:

Ryan Hummel, Director of Facilities | Philadelphia Eagles & Cardie Saunders, Director | eTemp

Al Hutchings, Director, Facility Operations & Engineering | Vancouver Canucks

Paul LaCaruba, Manager, Sustainability & Omar Mitchell, Director, Sustainability | National Hockey League

Event Details: Wed February 25 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm | Webinar | Free

New Job Opportunities

[Internship] Hulu MBA Summer Internships - Content Acquisition, Content Marketing, Distribution

Hulu has recently posted a trio of MBA-specific internships.

Content Acquisition - This role demands someone who can blend quantitative analysis with a strong subjective filter, at a breakneck pace.  Someone who isn’t comfortable in a back office in a corporate tower… we’re small enough that everyone interacts directly with our most senior business leaders, sharing recommendations and debating the best path forward.

Content Marketing - The content marketing team builds and executes marketing campaigns that drive awareness of Hulu’s original and licensed shows. This includes determining target demographics, establishing show positioning and driving the overall creative direction, media, and cross-functional team (PR, editorial, distribution, etc.) collaboration.  A Hulu intern means being an integral part of our team, it means being given the opportunity to roll up your sleeves, jump in - and make your mark as a key player in the future of digital media!

Distribution - The Distribution Internship is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role that will be part of the team responsible for executing and managing distribution partnerships. This position will work closely with the entire distribution team, including device partners, MVPDs and other vertical partnerships.
