Shape Your Summer (Tue. May 10th) 

First-years, if you are wondering how to make the most of your summer, be sure to join Career Services and a diverse panel of second-year students for a lively discussion. Shape Your Summer takes place on Tuesday, May 10th from 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM in Harper C25. The panel will discuss ways to prepare for your internship, challenges you may encounter, how to effectively resolve those challenges, and lessons learned. They will also share key recruiting information such that you can be prepared for the fall and full-time recruiting. Please register in GTS via the Programs tab as lunch is provided.

31st Annual DuSable Conference (Sat. May 14th) 

Join fellow Boothies, alums, and professionals at AAMBAA's DuSable Conference to gain tangible networking skills in leveraging personal and professional connections to get to the next level. Speakers represent an array of industries including, but not limited to, finance, PE, sports management, legal practices, corporate management and entrepreneurship. Specifically, there are two speakers that will be talking to media, entertainment, and sports-related topics: Ryan Baker, a sports anchor and director for CBS-2 Chicago, and Jason Campbell, founder of Brand B Sports, a sports management agency.

Fireside Chat - Kelly Linstroth, '09, Chicago Cubs (Tue. May 17th) 

Join MESG and CWiB in welcoming Kelly Linstroth, '09, who is the Assistant Director - Relationship Marketing at Chicago Cubs. Ms. Linstroth will be hosting a small group discussion sharing her insights on her experience working within the sports industry as a Booth alumna. TPG's Pro Scout School (Mon. July 11th - Tues. July 12th)

For those seeking careers in sports or sports media, TPG's Pro Scout School conference in Las Vegas offers first-hand insight into the world of professional basketball. Sessions include the GM experience (a conversation with two NBA general managers), the president/CEO experience (discussions with individuals running the business side of NBA teams), the media & broadcasting experience, and the sales & marketing experience.
