[1Y] Co-Chair Career Chats

Hi first-years! The MESG Co-Chairs are here to help with 1 on 1 sessions about recruiting for media/entertainment and sports.  These sessions are for resume reviews and tips and tricks for the industry you’re interested in.  Sessions will be held from October 20th to October 31st. The MESG Co-Chairs have various experiences in both media/entertainment and sports and can help connect you with contacts (depending on your interests).

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, October 15th, 6:00 p.m.
What: 1 on 1 sessions with MESG Co-Chairs
When: Varying “office” hours from October 20th to October 31st (Either Gleacher or Harper depending on the session time)
How: Please contact Gabby Cristobal at gcristobal@chicagobooth.edu to schedule a session and then you’ll be paired with the best person to answer your questions.

Please include in your email to Gabby: Your resume, a short blurb of your interests and your availability from 10/20-10/31.

[1Y] Interest in MES Career Treks to New York and Los Angeles

Hi first-years! If you are interested in leading a career trek to New York and/or Los Angeles to check out media, entertainment, and sports companies, please join the co-chairs at Ida Noyes Pub on Wednesday, October 15 at 4:45 p.m. (see event below). We will provide a brief overview of the treks and trek leader responsibilities. Please also email Phil Caruso at pcaruso@chicagobooth.edu to express interest. Based on your interest level, we will select trek leaders in a few weeks.

[2Y] MESG Resume Book

Hi second-years! The MESG Co-Chairs are putting together a resume book that we will distribute to select MES companies that have been helpful to us in the past. If you're interested in being part of the resume book, please email your resume to Jeffrey Chao at jeffrey.chao@chicagobooth.edu.

Submission Deadline: Thursday, October 16, 6:00 pm.

First-years, please note that we will also do a 1Y resume book later this year.
