The trek will be held around December 15-19 (dates pending depending on companies). Thus far, meetings have been arranged at Major League Baseball, the NBA, Major League Soccer, the Raine Group, Vox Media/The Verge, and potentially HBO and Columbia Records.

November 24: MESG 1Y Resume Book Submission Deadline
Hi first-years! The MESG Co-Chairs are putting together a resume book that we will distribute to select MES companies that have been helpful to us in the past. If you have an MESG-specific resume that you wish to submit, please email your resume to Jeff Chao at jeffrey.chao@chicagobooth.edu.
If you do not submit an MESG-specific resume, the co-chairs will pull your official resume from GTS for inclusion in the resume book. If you prefer not to be included in the resume book, please also email Jeff and let him know.
Submission Deadline: Monday, November 24, 6:00 pm.

[Internship] University Football Rentals Business Development Intern (due March 13)
University Football Rentals is the AirBnB for college football weekends, allowing fans to rent homes near campuses around the country on game weekends. After a successful launch at the University of Notre Dame as 'Rent Like a Champion', our company has now expanded to 10+ colleges around the country. [Full-Time] Spurs Sports & Entertainment Manager of Basketball Information Systems
This position will be responsible for managing, designing, and overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of internal databases, user interfaces, and related technology platforms. Most notably, this will involve managing the implementation of a new internal scouting database and associated reporting platform. The eligible candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering (via in-person, phone and e-mail interactions with other members of Basketball Operations department), and delivering fully functional applications. [Internship/Full-Time] MGM Resorts Executive Associate Program (due January 1)
The Executive Associate Program is MGM Resorts International’s professional development program aimed at recruiting recent MBA graduates from top-tier business schools and preparing them for future leadership roles with the Company. This program typically concludes after 18 months, however the specification duration is flexible based on performance of the Executive Associate and business needs. Executive Associates are exposed to senior executive leadership while being placed in roles that support the Company’s strategic vision and contribute to its overall operating performance.
A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and strategically, as well as possess strong communication skills. Candidates should exhibit an interest in the gaming and hospitality industry, be capable of making sound recommendations based on limited or imperfect information, and demonstrate the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects in order to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
The Executive Associate Program offers two distinct track offerings:
Summer Executive Associate Program – Available to current MBA first-year students for a 10-week placement during the summer, working on high-impact projects at a targeted division within the Company.
Full-Time Executive Associate Program – Available to recent MBA graduates to join the Company on a permanent basis, with placements into 6-12 month rotations to work in long-term roles within various functional areas based on the individual’s skills, experience, and interest.
