[Internship] The Associated Press Business Associates Program

The Associated Press seeks graduate students for its paid 12-week summer Business Associates Program.

Working with one of a number of AP business management teams, Business Associates will work on key projects for 2015. Associates will work side-by-side with AP’s senior business leaders and staff, collaborating and developing ideas, sharpening critical-thinking and research skills, and engaging the complexities of today’s media industry at a highly strategic level. They will perform both broad-based and smaller-scale research directly related to the 2015 projects which are designed to take the company from competing in the new marketplace for media to dominating it.

[Internship] DirecTV Content & Programming Acquisitions Intern

The Content & Programming team is responsible for negotiating program licensing agreements for all broadcast, cable, premium, sports, local, VOD, PPV and Special Events content that is available on the DIRECTV platform.  The TV Everywhere & Digital Initiatives Intern will work closely with the group responsible for acquiring the rights to provide DIRECTV subscribers with access to their content on mobile, web, game consoles and connected STB devices via the DIRECTV Everywhere platforms as well as on programmer platforms.
