With FDI footprints in natural resource extraction industries across all emerging markets, and an uprising into technology markets in more developed regions, China's overseas assets are forecast to triple by 2020. With government policies encouraging overseas investment, how is the trajectory in outward capital flows affecting inward flows? Will China's foreign investment stocks remain small compared to the advanced economies of Europe and North America? We discuss the strategies that underpin China's dominance and forecast future investing trends in Asia.
