Membership

Membership is open to any Chicago Booth student.

One of the biggest benefits of being part of FEAD is access to a wide network of people in the Food, Environment, Agribusiness and Development  community. We develop a close network with alumni and stay active during the entire two years at Booth. As a member, you will benefit from a breadth of resources that will give you exposure to the Food and Agribusiness ecosystem prepping you to be successful at Booth and beyond. The group's focus on student issues makes us uniquely capable of meeting the needs and desires of our student members.

  • Access to our flagship Booth-hosted FEAD Forum conferences
  • Access to treks & field trips to farms, offices spaces (from start-ups to corporate offices and venture capital firms), restaurant tours, etc. both in Chicago and elsewhere
  • Lunchtime speaker series, panels, forums and social events

Career Development

  • FEAD Networking Trip (e.g. 2023 Los Angeles Trek)
  • Q&A with career panels with both second year students, as well as industry professionals
  • Internship and job opportunities postings

Other

  • Collaboration opportunities and events with other clubs on campus with programming in our scope
  • Access to information on leading industry specific Food & Agribusiness conferences (e.g: MBArk and Expo West)

Membership Fees

  • Lifetime Membership: $90
  • One Year Membership: $50
  • One Quarter Membership for International Exchange Students: $20
  • Joint Membership with Business & Sustainability: TBD
