Karen is currently the Executive Managing Director and President of U.S. Commercial Real Estate for CIBC US, and is a member of the Region Executive Committee. Karen was presented with the Shero Award, which celebrates women in real estate whose outstanding achievements inspire others in the industry, whose unwavering dedication serves as a catalyst for future leaders, whose unparalleled commitment to mentoring and developing women, and whose contributions have changed the corporate culture to allow more women to succeed.

Affordable Housing Consulting Project - DL3 Realty

In a quarter-long project, members of the Real Estate Group consulted with DL3 Realty on potential investments in Chicago near the company's recently developed Jewel-Osco supermarket. The group conducted market research in the targeted neighborhood, and recommended two residential affordable housing solutions in their final presentation to the DL3 Realty team.

CoStar Training

In early May, the Chicago Booth Real Estate Group was joined by Andrew Kaiser, Senior Client Success Manager with CoStar Group, to provide a training on CoStar. Andrew trained the Group on how to most effectively use CoStar to drive analytical insights and quickly and efficiently use the tool.

Riverside Investment & Development: Office Visit and Site Tour of 110 N Wacker
