Look Over My Shoulder Registration (2022-2023)

Look Over My Shoulder (LOMS) is a case audio series lead by former consultant turned recruiting guru Victor Cheng. Students around the world use his case series and materials to refine their casing and interview preparation and land the ever sought after job offer. This registration gives you access to caseinterviews.com where you can find the LOMS series, a long video series introducing you to cases, and some of the frameworks Victor used at McKinsey. Consulting 101: A Day in the Life of a Consultant

In this Consulting 101 event, the BCC will be hosted by Co-Chair Sarah Lowe who will be joined by former Chicago Booth student Lauren Fish who currently works with Bain & Company. During this event, Lauren will share insights into what a "day in the life of a consultant" looks like for Boothies interested in becoming a consultant while providing perspective on navigating and advancing within the consulting industry successfully. Speaker Bio: Becca Leonard is an Associate at McKinsey, where she helps organizations accelerate execution to achieve long-term performance improvement and measurable, bottom-line results. She finds meaning and purpose in helping others unlock challenges and aspires to become known as an inclusive leader amongst her colleagues and clients. Prior to McKinsey, Becca spent 8 years at Shell in a variety of technical and commercial roles. Becca graduated from Booth in 2020, with specializations in finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. She also holds a Masters in Engineering from The University of Texas and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from University of Arkansas. She and her wife, Lenny, currently live in Fayetteville, Arkansas with their dogs Dillon & Griff. This event is the second of a three-part series designed to help students understand consulting and its different industry pathways.

1898 & Co. is the consulting arm of Burns & McDonnell which was launched to serve their clients by looking beyond individual projects and programs and delivering the strategic insights that will help them prosper in environments of rapid disruption. 1898 mainly focuses on business, technology and security consulting services. 1898 & Co is looking to expand its offerings in Chicagoland area by building out an office and are seeking experienced hires, summer interns and full-time students to join them.
