About the Social Impact Summit

In 2017, Booth launched its inaugural Social Impact Summit with tremendous success. The conference continues to be the premier event for discussing the confluence of industry and social impact for the next generation of leaders emerging from the University of Chicago. Our speakers represent a wide range of industries from financial services to government entities from all across the sectors. Past speakers include leadership from the NRDC, Pepsico, Johnson Controls, The Nature Conservatory, Procter & Gamble, and several other leaders in social impact. The 2022 Summit promises to be more exciting than the past events as we return to our in-person sessions and seek to extend our partnerships.

The Social Impact Summit, conceived and organized by Booth students and supported by the school administration, brings together the business professionals and researchers from social impact for an open conversation about the challenges, trends and opportunities in the developing countries. This interdisciplinary conference facilitates interactions on a common theme between all of the graduate studies at the University of Chicago and promotes unique learning and networking opportunities for both students and speakers.
