Anna li

Anna is a full-time MBA Student at Chicago Booth, and she is also currently interning at 7wireVentures, an early stage digital health venture fund. Prior to Booth, she spent most of her time working as a strategy consultant with L.E.K. Consulting’s Medical Technology Practice, where she worked on growth strategy and due diligence projects. She holds a BA in Public Policy from the University of Chicago. This summer, Anna will be interning with Adobe as a Product Marketing Manager.

Eleanor kang

Eleanor is a full-time student at Chicago Booth and a candidate for the Graduate Program in Healthcare Administration and Policy (GPHAP). Prior to Booth, she was a medical student at UCSF and interned at Covered California where she developed an interest in the payor/provider space. She plans to return to medical school post-MBA. Eleanor graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in public policy and biology. For the summer ’22, she will be interning at Strategy& in the Chicago office.

ethel osorio-lee

Ethel is a first year Chicago Booth student passionate about data analytics, strategy, and operations in healthcare. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, she began her career in healthcare at a pharmaceutical consulting firm. After a couple years, she joined a Chicago-based consulting company, where she had the chance to work on payment intelligence, contract management, pharmacy benefit solutions, and oncology management vendor selection and negotiations. This summer she will be interning at Optum.

hanwen xiong

Hanwen is a full-time MBA student at Chicago Booth. She started her career as an investment banking analyst at China International Capital Corporation, where she participated in over ten IPO and M&A deals. Later she joined Alphamab Oncology, a biotechnology start-up aiming at cutting-edge cancer therapies, as an investor relations manager. She co-led the company's Series A & B financing and the IPO in Hong Kong. Hanwen holds a Bachelor in Economics from Zhejiang University. This summer, she will be interning with the marketing team at Intuitive Surgical.

liang (claire) zhang

Claire is a full-time MBA candidate at Chicago Booth with concentrations on finance, accounting, and entrepreneurship. She is interested in global healthcare investments, especially in biotech, diagnostics, and digital health. Her career focus is investment banking in the West Coast covering healthcare. Prior to Booth, Claire worked in China as an investment analyst in healthcare VC with Eight Roads and SoftBank China Capital. She also co-founded a MedTech startup granted by the NSF and supported by the Polsky Center I-Corp program. Claire earned a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, and holds a BA in International Politics and dual degree in Philosophy from Peking University in China.

lori ebenstein

Lori Ebenstein is a full-time MBA student at Chicago Booth. She started her career at CVS Health in strategy and product management roles focused on helping patients receive and manage their prescriptions. Most recently, she worked in a general management role for a commercial real estate development company. While at Booth, she has pursued opportunities in entrepreneurship and healthcare and currently is participating in the New Venture Challenge. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Brown University. During the summer, Lori plans to work at a healthcare startup.

maya gianchandani

Maya is a full-time MBA student at Chicago Booth. Prior to Booth she spent three years as a consultant with ZS Associates, where she specialized in market access strategy for biopharmaceutical firms. Maya holds a BS in Chemical Engineering with a concentration in Chemical Processing from the University of California, Berkeley. This summer, Maya will be interning with Pfizer’s Strategy & Consulting team.
