Emma seger

Emma is pursuing concentrations in Healthcare and Marketing at Chicago Booth. She graduated from Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a degree in Finance and International Business.

Prior to Booth, Emma spent five years at Chartis, where she focused on healthcare strategy and analytics, primarily working with health plans. Her work centered on cost optimization, network strategy, and value-based care.

This summer, Emma will join AbbVie as a Commercial Leadership Development Program intern, where she will work on marketing strategy within the therapeutics business. She is particularly interested in pharmaceutical commercialization and bringing innovative therapies to patients.

Victoria huiyi lyu

Victoria is a joint MBA and Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences candidate at Chicago Booth, with a concentration in healthcare. She holds a degree in Business and a minor in Psychology from Boston College's Carroll School of Management.

Prior to Booth, Victoria's work spanned economic consulting and investing. At Deloitte, she specialized in intellectual property valuations for life science and technology clients in the Bay Area. On the investing side, she gained experience across early-stage women's health at Coyote Ventures and CIBC's health and life science team, with exposure to medtech, value-based care, and digital health.

This summer, Victoria will be joining Oliver Wyman's healthcare and life science practice in Chicago. She is especially passionate about advancing innovative therapeutics in oncology and women's health — two areas she believes are ripe for meaningful change.

NIDHI REDDY

Nidhi is pursuing a joint MBA and Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Chicago Booth, with concentrations in strategy and entrepreneurship. Nidhi graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Neuroscience and minors in Economics and Healthcare Management.

Before joining Booth, she worked at ClearView Healthcare Partners, where she advised biotech and pharma clients on commercial strategy, product launch planning, and business development. Her work focused largely on the oncology and rare disease spaces.

Nidhi will be joining Regeneron Pharmaceuticals' BuiLD MBA Internship Program this summer, where she will focus on new product planning.

ANA PORTO

Ana is pursuing an MBA at Chicago Booth and is part of the Graduate Program in Health Administration and Policy (GPHAP). She graduated from Insper, a leading Brazilian business school, with a degree in Economics and Business Administration.

Prior to Booth, Ana spent five years at VELT Partners, a Brazilian asset manager, where she became the firm's youngest and first female Investment Associate Partner. She led cross-sector investment coverage across healthcare and retail.

This summer, Ana will work at Valtruis, a healthcare-focused venture and growth fund backed by Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, on U.S. investment theses and portfolio company strategy.

alex knapp

Alex is a joint-degree student pursuing an MBA and an MS in Biomedical Sciences, with concentrations in Economics, Biomedical Innovation, and Applied AI. She graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with a degree in Business and a minor in Computer Science.

Prior to Booth, Alex worked at Google as a Strategy & Operations Program Manager on the channel partnerships team, and at Accenture in growth strategy consulting and digital health due diligence; she also holds an EMT certification.

This summer, she will join Intuitive Surgical as a Product Management intern on their Digital team where she’ll be working at the intersection of AI, product strategy, and healthcare.
