Graduate Business Council

About Us

Welcome to the Graduate Business Council, Booth's student government organization!

Who we are: The GBC team is comprised of a six-person executive board plus 40 elected cohort leaders, including Presidents and Representatives elected by each cohort class.

Our mission: To be the voice for the student body and facilitate a great student experience for all

What we do: As Booth's student government organization, GBC is involved in many aspects of student life: providing services, planning events, and representing the student body to the administration and externally. GBC operates 17 committees, all of which have a suite of tasks and responsibilities.

The services and events brought to you by GBC include LPFs, Winter Formal, Spring Fling, Random Walks, the grade non-disclosure policy, guided art tours of the Harper Center, the Booth 1Y/2Y mentorship program, the Cohort Cup, Booth-Kellogg events like the Running of the Bulls basketball game, mix-it-up dinners, Fall Frolics, and much more!

How you can get involved: Being an official member of the GBC requires election by your cohort, but even if you have not been elected, there are plenty of ways to get involved! Please reach out to your cohort leadership to express interest!
