Have you ever wondered what position your napkin and silverware ought to be on the dining table? Do you know where the appropriate spot is when holding your wine glass? Do you wish to create the best first impression when meeting peers, faculty, and potential employers? Projecting a strong image can set you apart from a crowd. Whether it is building rapport with an employer, establishing credibility with your peers, or simply making an impactful introduction, the personal brand you present is a key factor in your success. Back by popular demand: you are cordially invited to the Etiquette Dinner on Saturday, January 24 from 5 - 7:30 p.m. CT. Patricia Cook, a leading professional presence consultant, will discuss how you can maximize your personal effectiveness and gain the skills and confidence to excel in any professional situation. The event will begin with a networking reception followed by dinner and a hands-on discussion on dining etiquette, social etiquette, and how to "work a room" while networking. All attendees will also receive Patricia Cook's etiquette guide following the event. This event brought to you by CBF, SAC, and Public Speaking Club and registration will be open to all Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Students. Please include any dietary restrictions or allergies in your RSVP or reach out to Anna Chalfin.
